Miami’s Athletic Director will reportedly meet with Gruden on Wednesday in Tampa.  The deal will be announced shortly thereafter.

Rick Sanchez Reacts to Keith Olbermann Firing; Takes High Road

When CNN fired anchor Rick Sanchez in October, few people rejoiced more than suspended MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann.  Though Sanchez apologized for a comment he made on a radio show implying the Jews were no longer an oppressed minority in the media world, the anchor ridiculed his apology dissecting it and finding fault with almost every word.  He went as far as to give Sanchez “Worser” status on his “Worst Person in the World segment.

So now that Olbermann has been suspended indefinitely from the network, Sanchez reacted to his suspension with these words:

“Got to work w/ Keith when I was at MSNBC. He's a solid journalist. Hope this passes.”

I have to admit I was waiting for the gloves to come off, but was shocked by Sanchez’s kindness during what is probably a tough time for Olberman.  Would have been nice to see Olbermann support his fellow newsman when he had the chance, instead of kicking him when he was down.   Sanchez proves he is the bigger man.

Keith Olbermann Suspended by MSNBC It's About Time!

MSNBC blowhard Keith Olbermann was suspended indefinitely for making political contributions to three ultra-liberal Democrats running for federal office.  The untalented television anchor has always been an extreme left-wing loon, but now even his employer recognizes his behavior is unacceptable.  On one occassion, he gave the maximum individual donation to a candidate on the same day he was interviewed on his train wreck of a show.

We have known for some time that the cartoonish anchorman should not be on the air, but now at least MCNBC feels the same.
